1-      21 March 2014 – Prelaunch of the Year of Flora

An exhibition in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert from the first days of spring

 

The Year of Flora will kick off with an immersive and visual exhibition. The Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert in the centre of Brussels will play host to an exhibition of photographs of Brussels parks and gardens of the non-profit association PHOTOGALLERY ASBL until 8 May 2014.  This is the first moment of the first highlight of a year teeming with events and discoveries.

 

2-      May 2014 – Launch of walks to discover the green capital

Maps with itineraries to discover the Region and its green spaces will be placed at the disposal of all those interested, to be used for tours (guided or otherwise) so as to discover the city from a different perspective.

 

3-      A flagship exhibition in the Halles Saint-Géry, “Brussels, Capital of Flora”

12 December 2014 – 28 February 2015

By way of apotheosis of the Year of Flora, an exhibition will open at the Halles Saint-Géry, and will run from December 2014 to the end of February 2015.  The non-profit association ANNEE DE FLORE ASBL will provide a large overview of horticulture in the capital since the 17th century.

 

PROCEDURES

Several of our events will be open to the general public and will require no reservations.

Others, on the other hand, will not be able to accommodate large numbers of visitors, so a reservation will be required.

 

You can make your reservations online on this site.  The ticking will be managed by the non-profit association CAP ASBL for guided tours and by the non-profit association Espaces Verts et Art des Jardins ASBL [Green Spaces and the Art of Gardens] for the lectures.
